Canada Sets A Winter Olympic Record
07/20/2010Canada won 14 gold medals in the recent Winter Olympics, setting a new world record for the most gold medals won in the Winter Olympics. I am so unbelievably proud of the men and women who represented our country so admirably, even those who did not win medals. You can always count on Canadian athletes to represent their country with the pride and respect they in turn receive from their fans. What goes around comes around =)
And to have accomplished this admirable feat in our home country, well, that’s the incredibly delicious icing on the cake =D. The video below shows all of our Canadian athletes who won the gold medal in their events singing our national anthem. Just like the other video, this brings tears of pride to my eyes every time I watch it =) so very proud. Ya dun good Canada, ya dun good =)
